|This course is specially designed for students who have received their secondary education outside the UK. In order to progress to British universities they may study an intensive one year course or an 18-month course in which they develop the fundamental skills necessary for successful study at university, including English, Mathematics and Information Technology, as well as specialising in three subjects relevant to their chosen university course. The University Foundation Programme offers routes into degrees in the following subject areas:
- Business/ Economics/Finance
- Law/Social Sciences

Over the past 2 years more than 54% have gone to Russell Group or 1994 Group universities.
September - June, international students should have an IELTS score of 5.0
January - August, international students need an IELTS score of 5.5
- January - June of the following year (5 terms), international students require an IELTS score of 4.5 (with no lower than 4.0 in any skill).
