Accreditation
The BAC is an independent body which was established in 1984 'to improve and enhance the standards of independent further and higher educational institutions in the United Kingdom by the establishment of a system of accreditation'. It publishes a list of some 109 independent colleges which have been inspected and accredited.
Inspection Summary
Bath Academy was first accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education in 1998. It was most recently re-inspected in February 2003.
BAC's inspectors reported on a very good or excellent level of provision in all of the areas assessed during the inspection. The College specialises in preparing students from overseas for higher education in the UK, and offers a well-planned academic programme, including intensive English language support for these who need it.
