GCSE Courses

The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an internationally recognised qualification, normally taken by students at the age of sixteen or seventeen; it is the main examination taken in the UK at the completion of compulsory education, and can lead to more advanced study such as GCE Advanced Level (A-Level).

International students at Bath Academy can study 6 GCSE courses in a range of subjects , normally over a period of nine months (one academic year).

It is also possible to take one or two GCSE subjects at the same time as GCE Advanced, following discussion with the college principal.

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum age 16
  • Good academic record and satisfactory reference from previous school
  • Good level of competence in English Language
