01/04/08 - Business Studies students at Bath Academy help local business with marketing

30 students studying Organisational Behaviour in the popular University Foundation Programme have brought their studies to life by liaising with a local businessman who is using their skills to help him to promote his business "The Juice Kitchen". Students are organising a tasting session of in the centre of Bath of his fresh juice, smoothies and home made soups in the hope of enticing customers to use the "Juice Kitchen" and increase customers. Students have been working on promotional material, communicating with the local press, undertaking surveys and conducting secondary research. This material will be useful for the owner of the business to increase his profits.

01/03/08 - Bath Academy to visit Singapore and Hong Kong

The Vice-Principal will be visiting the ICEF exhibition in Singapore from the 28th to the 30th of March 2008

The Principal and Vice-Principal will be attending the Academic Asia exhibition in Hong Kong from the 23rd to the 26th of May 2008

04/02/08 - Bath Academy to visit Japan, Dubai and Germany

Bath Academy's Director of English Language Teaching will be attending the ICEF exhibition in Japan from February 29th to March 12th

The Principal and Vice-Principal will be visiting Dubai from March 4th to March 12th

Our Senior tutor will attend the Away Die Auslandsmesse exhibition in Germany from April 18th to April 25th

12/03/07 - Bath Academy Sponsors International Rugby Player

Bath Academy is very pleased to announce sponsorship of an international rugby player

Paulica Ion, the Romanian international tighthead prop joined Bath Rugby from Buceresti RFC at the beginning of this season. The 24-year-old has been capped 15 times for Romania (who are famous for their very strong pack) since his debut against Argentina during the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Known for his strength in the scrum, Paulica was recently described by the Daily Telegraph as "a prime lump of Bucharest beef" who "helped in the destruction of the Leicester Tigers front row".

Paulica and his wife Jenny have been studying English at Bath Academy since the end of the 2007 World Cup.
