Bath Academy is an independent college and language school that specialises in a personalised, tailored education. We offer tutorial support in both Academic and English Language courses to match individual needs of students, helping them to achieve their academic potential in any direction they may choose.
For the past seven years, I have had the pleasure of seeing Bath Academy grow, thrive, and transform into a vibrant, international college. Students from different backgrounds and various cultures continue to carve out their individual academic journey with us and progress beyond our expectations.
With tailored teaching and support, we give students the best chance to apply successfully to high quality universities, and have had a record year of students offered university places at their chosen destination.

We want to say a huge congratulations to our former A-Level student James Kennedy for winning the ‘Outstanding Achievement’ Award at the CIFE Awards ceremony hosted at the House of Lords in London in April.
James achieved a fantastic four A*s at Bath Academy and is currently studying Architecture at UCL.
Here’s what our Principal Tim Naylor had to say about his achievements:
“James joined Bath Academy in September 2019 on a two year A Level programme, after his sister had come to the college to re-sit her A Levels very successfully the year previously. On enrolling, he undertook a standardized psychometric assessment that showed that students with the same GCSE profile as James across the country had achieved three grade AAA on average at A Level at the top 25% of sixth forms. It was clear […]
The average class size in mainstream UK schools has been dramatically increasing for years.
In 2020 this figure was the highest in the last 19 years with the average class size hitting 22. This rise was mirrored by the average size of a secondary school increasing by 2% to 986 pupils. Many parents may be asking what the significance of this rise is for their child and the impact on their education. This is why Bath Academy prides itself on being able to offer small, personal and supportive learning environments for all students due to the proven benefits discussed below:
In small classes, the teacher has the time and ability to cater to individual students ensuring that nobody is left behind or struggling to keep up with the content. In a class of over […]
What our students say is the best testimony to what we do at Bath Academy. They have first-hand experience of everything from course work, quality of teaching, college environment, student life, what studying in Bath is like, and so much more.
One of the best things about Bath Academy is the diverse group of students we have, from Bath, all over the UK, and internationally. Small though we are, we cover a huge spectrum of students needs and learning styles. Our personal approach provides a community atmosphere, and is what makes us different, and better for many reasons. Read on to find out why:
