What documents do I need to send to Bath Academy as part of my application?

– Passport

– Most recent school grades & reference from your school

– A Personal Statement – explaining why you want to study on this course at Bath Academy, what you hope to achieve during your study in the UK and outline your goals for the future.

– If an international student, we require evidence of your English Language Qualification – the most common test is the IELTs examination

Why do I need to send these documents?

We invite all students and their parent(s) to discuss their plans for the future and how Bath Academy can help each individual with their academic journey. We ask for the documents to give us a better understanding of a student before the Interview.

I am an international student, can I apply to Bath Academy?

Yes, of course you can. Bath Academy accepts students from the UK and all other countries around the world. Currently, the College is 30% international students and 70% students from the UK and students study together.

What questions will you ask me during the Interview?

Do not worry, the interview should not be too stressful and is more of conversation to explore various options available to you and for Bath Academy to get a better understanding of how we can help you in progressing to a top-ranked University.

How much is the course at Bath Academy?

The fees for all of our courses and accommodation can be found under the admissions section of our website here.  However, if you are not sure, you can ask the admissions team.

Will you help me with my Visa application?

Yes. As part of your application, we will ask for certain documents which we need to see before issuing your Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). You will need the CAS number to make your Student or Child Student visa application. The documents you send to Bath Academy will all need to be taken to the Visa Appointment to comply with UK Visa and Immigration guidelines.

How will I know how to get to Bath Academy when I arrive in the U.K?

During your application process the Accommodation & Welfare Officer will contact you to discuss your accommodation arrangements while you study at Bath Academy. We can arrange for a private car to collect you from the Airport or give you up-to-date travel information. If you have chosen Bath Academy Accommodation, the hosts will welcome you and settle you in to life in Bath.

What do I have to do on my first day?

You will be sent Pre-Arrival Information from the Admissions Team and you should read this carefully as it will give you lots of useful details of what you can expect at Bath Academy. You will be welcomed by the staff and shown around the College buildings. You will receive your timetable and student card on the first day.
