Hi, I’m Rachel and I work in Bath Academy’s Admissions Department.

In my role of Admissions Assistant I am the first point of contact for enquiries to Bath Academy. I get to meet prospective students and their parents and show them round our lovely college. I enjoy finding out about people from all different countries and cultures.

I am a newcomer to Bath, after living overseas for many years, in Dubai and Cape Town, and am very happy now to be in one of the most beautiful, historic cities in England. It is a joy to work in such pleasant surroundings with lovely people.

I have recently moved to Bath and joined Bath Academy in September of 2023. As Head of Reception and HR I provide central administrative support for all courses. I am the primary reception contact and with being the Principal’s PA, I assist all members of staff, students and guardians wherever I am needed.

I am involved in the internal and external Communications of the college and support the Senior Management’s vision by providing dedicated administrative support to the College’s Registrar.

In my day-to-day life, I spend a lot of my time working on my fitness whether it’s in the gym, going on runs or hikes. I enjoy travel and also a great festival!

After undertaking a wide variety of administrative skills, in different sectors and HR, I have found my feet well here at Bath Academy and I am truly proud and grateful to be a part of such an amazing college!

Hello! My name is Violet and I am one of the people behind the scenes translating Bath Academy’s vision into word and image. I am also responsible for internal and external communications to current (and prospective) parents and students.

I spent formative years studying in Finland and America so I understand the international students’ initial struggle after being one myself – but after living in Bath for over ten years I see it as my home (so I understand the local student’s viewpoint too.)

My background is in the arts – I am a paid and published poet and illustrator, and with my last role being the sole marketer of FilmBath Festival I feel I am well positioned to add a creative flair in raising Bath Academy’s profile, both locally and internationally.

I think learning and the gaining of knowledge are some of the most noble pursuits in life so I am delighted to be working at Bath Academy, a wonderful institute where my morals align fully.

In my spare time I enjoy; being in nature, wild swimming, travel, reading, film, knitting, and putting the world to rights with my friends.

As Head of Admissions and Marketing at Bath Academy I assist applications to the college from British and International Families as well as establishing partnerships with representatives around the globe with my colleagues

I enjoy welcoming families to visit the college or talking through aspects of the college with them over the phone. My aim is to provide prompt, informative and useful advice regarding admissions to the college.

I am also able to assist any international students who require a Visa to enter the United Kingdom. Applying to study abroad can be daunting, so I’m here to help with any questions about the application process, as well as give guidance with obtaining your Visa to study at Bath Academy.

I will also promote opportunities for students during their time at the college on Social Media and other platforms – you might see me behind and in-front of the camera at various times!

In my spare time I umpire cricket matches across the country and enjoy spending time keeping fit, reading and hiking.

If you have any questions about Bath Academy, please feel free to ask me. I look forward to hearing from you.
