General Information for Examination Candidates
Bath Academy offers internal and private candidates access to exams from AQA, OCR, Pearson, and WJEC.

EXAMS 2023
Results
We have planned for an in-person Results’ Day on Thursday 17th August and Thursday 24th August. Results will be emailed to Student Bath Academy email addresses from 08:30 (BST) that day.
Students and their families may come to Bath Academy to collect their results in person from 09:00. Results Day will come to an end at 13:00 and any students wishing to make contact with staff after this time should email the relevant person.
Results will be issued on results days in August as follows:
- Thursday 17th August: GCE (AS, A Levels) and other Level 3 qualifications
- Thursday 24th August: GCSE and other Level 1/2 qualifications
Post Results Service June

Appeals
Please find the JCQ Appeals Booklet 2022-2023 below. This document sets out the process for making an appeal.
Note – Once a finding has been made you cannot withdraw your request for an appeal. If your grade has been lowered, you will not be able to revert back to the original grade you received on results day.
Certificates
Certificates, when received from the awarding organisations, will be issued to you without delay. You will be able to come to Bath Academy Exams Office at Chapel Row to collect your Qualification Certificate approximately 8 weeks after Provisional Results have been issued. Any unclaimed certificates will be stored securely for at least 12 months, then destroyed confidentially if not collected or claimed.
