Job Summary

Fully residential teaching + Activity Leader position in fantastic location (Milton Abbey School, Dorset)for 7 – 21 July.

15 hours per week EFL teaching to young learners/teens – syllabus/course materials provided

Some admin duties – reports/registers

Full training and support given by experienced DoS + Course Director

Up to 20 hours per week of activity/excursion leading

Details of Position

From 7-21st July, qualified EFL teachers required for a two-week residential summer school near Blandford Forum, Dorset. Working with young learners/teens aged 9-16.

15 teaching hours per week, 20 + hours per week for helping with activities/excursions (teachers are expected to combine teaching and some activity work).

Syllabus/Course materials provided – lively and engaging lessons required with a focus on productive skills

Comfortable accommodation and all meals provided

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: £425.00 to £525.00 /week


British Council recognised EFL teaching qualification, e.g. Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent

University Degree

Applicants with a PGCE in English or Modern Languages with ELT/TESOL subsidiary or university certificate in ELT/TESOL courses (provided they meet the British Council qualification criteria)are welcome to apply.


Applicants with previous experience of working with teens/children on a summer school

Interest in sport/outdoor activities
